2Pb(NO3)2 + K4[Fe(CN)6] + 4H2O → Pb2[Fe(CN)6] * 4H2O + 4KNO3

Pb2[Fe(CN)6]·4H2O was prepared by mixing equal volumes of 0.2 M Pb(NO3)2 and 0.1 M K4[Fe(CN)6] aqueous solutions and stirred for 2 h. The white precipitate obtained was filtered, washed several times with distilled water and dried in vacuum until constant weight was achieved.
